We finally left Ft Myers. Originally we were headed for Marco Island, about 30 miles south of Ft Myers, but we had such a smooth sail and the water was so calm we decided to keep going. And go farther. And even farther. And through the night even farther. This is when the wind and waves started acting up however. Throwing the boat around like a paper cup in a tub is a good analogy .....
