We are now in Fanning Island which was a day and night sail form Christmas- also in the Kiribati. But oh ho so much more chilled! We are
in the lagoon, which is very shallow and the most amazing cream soda green! We are anchored just next to the pass, kind of tucked behind a
little spit so we are very sheltered and protected, which after the elemental Christmas Island, is lovely! The clouds have been mind
blowing, all green from the reflected lagoon water, and the craziest shapes and textures. There are a whole lot of surf breaks, one within
sight from the boat, so happiness all round! A Norwegain cruise boat used to come here, but no longer, and with that ceased all contact with the outside world ....
