.... We were sad to leave our friends in Lamotrek, but it was time to move on. We were asked to drop off a passenger at the nearby atoll of Elato. We were reluctant, because we’ve never carried passengers before, but it turned out to be a very good experience and we got to see another beautiful atoll. Our passenger was very grateful and his village showed their appreciation by gifting us with a big bunch of drinking coconuts. We only stayed long enough to have lunch and then got underway for Palau.
It was a beautiful day for sailing, fair wind and a following sea with plenty of sunshine thrown in too. However, the next few days were not as nice, but still good sailing....
