From North Wales to the Algarve during 2009(slowly)

...Everyone staying in Lagos is now settling into a winter routine whilst still enjoying sunshine from dawn to dusk, we can understand why it is known as the ‘Velcro port’. There is always something going on. To date we have had a trip on the replica 15th century sailing ship ‘Caravel’, visited La Rocha (The Rock) which is an important centre monitoring bird migration. They are also doing their very best to prevent the last important marsh area, used by many species on their way to Africa, to be developed into yet more tourist accommodation.
